Rubber Bonded To Plastic
Custom Rubber Corp. has years of exprience bonding molded rubber to plastic. So long as the plastic can withstand the molding temperature (between 280F and 365F), Custom Rubber Corp. can bond rubber to it using specially formulated, heat-activated adhesives.
In the part pictured here, a high temperature glass-filled nylon insert is used. The insert is painted with a specialty adhesive, specifically designed for the EPDM rubber material. The rubber coats the entire surface shown in the photo, including the raised nubs while leaving the bot holes free for easy assembly.
The molded rubber parts pictured are not in stock or for sale. These are examples of custom-manufactured products that illustrate Custom Rubber Corp.'s capabilities.
