Responsiveness came through for this customer. After designing the mold for a thermoplastic (TPE) material, this customer found that the only material that would meet the requirements was a thermoset rubber. They contacted Custom Rubber Corp. to help—they needed parts one week after the mold was completed.

Custom Rubber Corp.'s design and tooling engineers worked with the customer's tool shop to make modifications to the tool so that it would fit in existing equipment, and identified a rubber material that met all the specifications.
Less than one week after receiving the mold, Custom Rubber Corp. had produced parts, using a mold designed for plastic, for the customer. The short prototype run was completed and the customer couldn't have been happier. Since that time, Custom Rubber Corp. has become their supplier of choice.
