The geometry of the rubber bellows pictured here is very challenging to manufacture. The openings on both ends are relatively small when compared to the large initial bellow or convolute shown at the top of the part. Custom Rubber Corp. has the experience and technical capabilities to pair the right rubber material - rubber material that can stretch when hot without tearing - with the geometry that maximizes the effectiveness of the end part while still being manufacturable.
The end application for this particular rubber bellows required only a small amount of travel up and down but there were some large components that had to be covered close to the base of the rubber molded part. The grommet-like flange on both ends ensured secure attachment with the mating parts.
The molded rubber parts pictured are not in stock or for sale. These are examples of custom-manufactured products that illustrate Custom Rubber Corp.'s capabilities.
