A specialty plater had difficulty keeping the chrome plating out of the interior of some mototcycle tail pipes. Custom Rubber Corp. developed a molded rubber masking plug that fit snugly - to keep the chrome out - but was able to be easily re-used.
The rubber material was selected to resist degradation when chrome plated over and over again.
