Pictured here is a molded rubber housing for a mobile power transformer. The rubber is a specially formulated Nitrile-PVC blend that is UL Approved and resistant to oils and greases that are prevelent in situations where mobile power distribution is necessary; immediately following disasters, work sites, construction sites, etc.
The "custom" nature of the molded housing allows for all types of information to be engraved on the part for the end-user's benefit. Things like the power capacity and the manufacturing company's name and contact information are all on engraved on the part - they can't fall off like a sticker or wear off like printed text.
