Special Rubber Material Makes the Gasket
Custom Rubber Corp. has an extensive range of partnerships with some of the best rubber material development companies in the world - all located within a 2 hour drive of our facility. In this particular case, the molded rubber round gasket has to function in a harsh environment, subjected to immersion and exposure to a very wide range of oils. Together with a few of our select partners, we were able to develop a special rubber Nitrile or NBR material that met the needs.
The molded rubber gasket has unique sealing features integrated into the cross section. Custom Rubber Corp.'s state-of-the-art cryogenic deflashing equipment insures that the parts shipped to the customer are flash free every time which leads to a perfect seal.
