A leading tier one supplier to Honda approached Custom Rubber Corp. to take on the rubber molding of some components. The customer molds both rubber and plastic but would like to focus on growing their plastic molding and needed to find a quality-minded responsive supplier - Custom Rubber Corp. fit the bill.
The molded rubber seal pictured here has very fine detail and is made from an 80 durometer ACM material capable of withstanding high heat. The material was developed by the customer but is mixed at one of Custom Rubber Corp.'s strategic partners. The parts require a post cure after molding to insure optimal physical properties are achieved.
