Working Light When you Need It
A leading provider of temporary jobsite lighting equipment needed a better supplier. The rubber molding company they were working with continually provided poor quality and late deliveries with one excuse after another. The company found Custom Rubber Corp. and once the tools were transferred and material procured, Custom Rubber Corp. started producing parts. We worked with the customer to explain some necessary investments in their tooling which was well used but with some investment, continues to produce quality product.
The customer ultimately moved their entire product line of molded rubber components to Custom Rubber Corp.. All the molded products use a special blend of Nitrile rubber and PVC to produce a bright yellow, oil-resistant, and UL-approved product that is 100% non-conductive. The two parts shown here are the molded rubber handles for job-site hand lamps. One version has an extra 110 volt outlet and the other is just the work light. The design makes the parts incredibly tough and impact resistant - one tough product for tough jobsites.
