Molded Rubber with Metal Reinforcement
The molded rubber parts pictured here are mirror images, a right and left bumper used in a airport baggage handling system. The molded rubber part includes a number of mounting holes, all countersunk to insure that the bags don't get scratched on the metal bolt heads. The part is designed with a metal plate completely encapsulated into the part to provide extra stiffness.
