Color Matters
A leading company that provides precise color matching, surface texture, and unique finish reproduction asked Custom Rubber Corp. to take over the production of small, colored, silicone rubber suction cups that they use in their manufacturing process. Their previous supplier couldn't consistently deliver and had difficulty getting the colors just right - even though the molded suction cups are not sent out to customers, the customer is committed to getting things the right color throughout the organization.
There are three sizes of molded suction cups, each size is made in two different colored silicone rubber materials. This assists the end user in insuring that the right part is used on the right machine and makes it nearly impossible to mix up the parts. Custom Rubber Corp.'s experience with colored rubber allows many of our customers to take advantage of using color to distinguish between very similar parts, or the same part made from different durometers or polymers.
