An innovative supplier to the military contacted Custom Rubber Corp. for assistance with the design and manufacture of a molded rubber eye cup for a specialized camera. Custom Rubber assisted with the design of some features on the back side of the rubber eye cup that made assembly easier and more durable in the field.
The material chosen was specifically selected to be soft on a soldier's eye but durable enough to survive any environment.
