Gun Trigger Safety
The customer, a leading firearm manufacturer, contacted Custom Rubber Corp. to assist with the design and production of a stopper for a firearm trigger. Custom Rubber Corp.'s experience in rubber molding helped the customer identify a rubber compound that would not catch fire, give off toxic fumes, or be hazardous to the human touch due to the conditions the trigger strap is subjected to.
Slight revisions were also made during the design process, making good use of Custom Rubber Corp.'s engineering expertise. Custom Rubber Corp. assisted with the design to ensure all the minor adjustments could be molded within an acceptable range.
