Color Matters for Safety
On an oil drilling rig, it's critically important that the electrical connections stay sorted out correctly - connecting a positive terminal for a motor into a neutral or negative power source would have disasterous consequences. The parts are molded in 10 different vibrant colors from a CSE/CME/Hyaplon® material. The colors are designed to stay vibrant after years of use and abuse in harsh weather conditions on drilling rigs around the world. Other connectors sometimes fade over time, causing potential issues when black starts to look the same as gray or red looks the same as orange - but not the parts moled by Custom Rubber Corp. We have never had a field failure for color fading.
