After a number of field failures, the manufacturer of outdoor/hazardous environment electrical outlet boxes came to Custom Rubber to design a seal that would insure moisture would not get inside the box. The end design covers the critical areas and provides sealing around the openings in the box.
Custom Rubber Corp. assisted not only with the rubber molding design, but also with the material selection to insure the component would outlast the rest of the assembly. Since incorporating the molded rubber insulator, the customer has had next to zero field issues.
