Custom Rubber Corp. started doing business with a tier one supplier to the automotive industry because they were having trouble keeping up with demand from their customers. The parts pictured here do not have a clean appearance on purpose. The material used is loaded with plastic to get the proper physical properties, and it also contains a large amount of wax that bleeds to the surface over time. This helps with installation and also keeps the surface coefficient of friction low - a critical characteristic for the part in application.
