    The molded rubber gear shown is approximately 12" in diameter and 1.125" thick. The material was selected for its durability and its ability to withstand the oil-rich environment.

    The molded square ID insures that the gear turns with the shaft and does not slip. The rubber gear absorbs some of the startup forces and insures a smooth but well connected interface with the mating part.
