Appearances Matter
A large medical equipment supplier approached Custom Rubber Corp. to assist with the development of a rubber cover for the foot plate on a medical scooter. The metal plate is cast aluminum and Custom Rubber Corp. designed the tooling to make an elegant and cosmetically appealing pad to provide non-skid traction.
Secondary Assembly
Custom Rubber Corp. also provided the assembly of the foot plate, purchasing the casting and using a specially formulated adhesive to apply the rubber cover to the aluminum plate. The end result is a great looking foot plate that met the functional requirements of the customer and the end user.
