Protective Rubber Molded Boot for Extreme Conditions
This customer came to Custom Rubber Corp. after extensive field testing for a military vehicle in extreme conditions. During that testing, a failure point was identified where a large wiring harness was exposed to the elements. Custom Rubber Corp. worked with the customer to develop a protective boot with integrated flanges for easy and secure assembly, and right-angle openings to accomodate the path the wire harness followed.
Custom Rubber Corp. designed and contracted the mold build, and delivered parts on time and on budget for the customer. Continued field testing proved out the design and the failure mode was eliminated.
