Greetings Suppliers,
Custom Rubber Corp. is now
ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) certified. We are also registered in SAM.gov (Systems for Awards Management). We have done all the filing and complied with all regulations to ensure you a secure product. ITAR is a set of United States government regulations that control the export and import of defense-related articles and services on the United States Munitions List (USML). The Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) interprets and enforces ITAR. Its goal is to safeguard U.S. national security and further U.S. foreign policy objectives. For practical purposes, ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies (for items listed on the U.S. Munitions List) may only be shared with U.S. Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is received or a special exemption is used. Under ITAR, a "US person" who wants to export USML items to a "foreign person" must obtain authorization from the U.S. Department of State before the export can take place. In the event of illegal exporting or a breach in regulation the erring company can be fined as penalty or in serious cases be disbarred from future exports. The Central Contractor Registration (CCR) was the primary supplier database for the U.S. Federal government until July 30, 2012. The CCR collected data from suppliers, validated and stored this data, and disseminated it to various government acquisition agencies. On July 30, 2012, the CCR transitioned to the System for Award Management (SAM). The new SAM system aggregates the Central Contractor Registry (CCR), Federal Agency Registration (Fedreg), Online Representations and Certifications Application Excluded Parties List System (EPLS) making bidding for government contracts and opportunities easier.
